Senryu and haiku are basically the same as far as how they are written. Though the senryu leans more towards the "human elements" while the haiku is the more traditional "nature themes". I'm not an expert on technicalities, however... some of the stuff I label haiku might very well be senryu. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter... just as long as the content is good :) It's fun to try new things! Personally, I find haiku a great way to capture little moments in life.

Another day and another chance to make things right. I, too am a bit naive in trusting everyone I meet. I have too much faith that people have good intentions... good one! I think this would be called a senryu, however...

I do not believe you to be a fool, your words are far to wise.
