Fool Me Once

I once was naive
many people are not good
the sun is rising

Senryu and haiku are basically the same as far as how they are written. Though the senryu leans more towards the "human elements" while the haiku is the more traditional "nature themes". I'm not an expert on technicalities, however... some of the stuff I label haiku might very well be senryu. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter... just as long as the content is good :) It's fun to try new things! Personally, I find haiku a great way to capture little moments in life.

Another day and another chance to make things right. I, too am a bit naive in trusting everyone I meet. I have too much faith that people have good intentions... good one! I think this would be called a senryu, however...

My dear Donna, once an ancient ( 6th century B.C.) Greek philosopher, Vias, his name, said: Most of the people are bad! You reminded him to me today! Great truth you have written! Thank you for visiting!

Incredible, you have inspired me yet again to write a poem, a naivety poem! I am so impressed with this Haiku, though I have to admit I'm not very good at writing Haiku, you seem to have done quite well with this! What a delightful piece my friend, Great work!!
