I hear ya. When we pass a certain age, indigestion is a major problem for all of us. Food loses taste, etc.. It's nature, not restaurant, wife, or Iranian sabotage. Very amusing. Well done.

Gershon, this is a wonderfully concise, cheeky little verse. The playful question-and-answer structure and neat rhyme deliver the domestic humour perfectly, while “a burning question” gives the closing line an especially amusing sting.
