Following Signs

.                        A fragile path leads the way to somewhere
                         
                         To unknown pastures of emotional passage


          On fast track to hell
                    
                    Over the potholes

                              Under tarmac 

                                        Defying the odds


                              Charting our stars

                                        From dot to dot

                                                  Around in circles

                                                            Struck by a comet


                             Stepladders sway

                    Splinters on rungs

          Coarse rope frayed

Blistering journey


                      Potholes give shelter

                                 Star dust sparkles

                                            One step at a time

                                                      Starting once more


A cave with a lantern strings time along

Places uncovered bracing one’s thoughts
