FOGGY GHOSTS

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
swings creak, ghosts of laughter clinging to their chains. fog swallows the slide whole~ a tongue tasting absence. monkey bars stretch like ribs of some half-remembered animal. kicked pebbles roll, then pause, listening for their own echo. a crow lands, tilts its head, claiming the silence as its own.
A crow claiming the silence at the end really gave this one such a strong ending. Enjoyed reading, Sara.
Wonderful imagery! For sure, cold and silence personified. No fog here, a clear FAV!
