There’s nothing more eerie mysterious and isolating as fog and it’s a gift to a poet like yourself when it comes to describing it. Great work Darlene. Here in UK we get our fair share of fogs - thankfully not the smog we used to get when households burned coal fires here back in the 60s / 70s. After reading Pangie’s comment below I’ll add that for the week we stayed in SF in 92 there was a fog every morning that made what we could see of Alcatraz in the distance look very spooky. Hello Gary, yes the fog is eerie. When you watch someone walking in a field, and you can not see their feet , that is very eerie. It looks like the person is floating in the air. Smog is worse than fog. It is difficult to see. Cheers! /Darlene/

I lve fodf and your poem. San Francisco is like foggy every single day around say 5 PM.. It’s a very mystical experience.. I always felt I was in another world. I do miss it a lot.. we have it where I live now but it’s very occasional nothing like San Francisco. Pangie xx

I wish I could explain to you how awesome it is in San Francisco. But I can’t. I know I have written some po3ems about that. We got a little bit of fog here, but nothing like that magic. Here,, it islik3e a sneeze. Pangie
