'flying Without Wings'

I sometimes get to fly without wings 

with eyesight so perfect 
aches and pains
so distant 
almost forgotten 

strength coming from a place 
no one has ever seen 
but somehow 

yes somehow 
even my failing 
heart beats 
harmoniously
