Fly Away
Out of my window I watched a bird
Watching her as rumours stirred
She was sitting on a branch alone
Wondering how long she’ll be on her own
A squirrel came by the bird
He didn’t stop to say a word
Except for laugh about the fact
She looked a little abstract
She continued to sit on her branch
Her heart sounding like an avalanche
The rain started pouring
The animals were warring
The sun finally came at last
Sitting there dwelling in the past
People just stare at her as if she’s a monster
Deep inside it makes her stronger
The more they laugh
Her confidence splits in half
She wishes she had friends
If she did her life wouldn’t have come to an end
