this is soo cute. I can actually envision her saying that. What a blessing to have grands in your seasoned years. I wish had at least one of those but not in my fate unfortunately.

Ah, Nancy, I have only one myself and that is sad enough. She's quite a good one though! Elizabeth

I wrote a poem some time ago on how the butterfly got its name. As it turns out (some some research) the "experts" don't know. Some experts think its name may have had something to do with witches! Check it out with Google. / Maurice

Lovely verse, Elizabeth. If all us Mums, Grandmothers and Great grandmothers wrote down these little gems that their young children have said, it would make a fun little book to read. Take care, Shirley

My bad, Joe. I forgot the title. We got a good laugh, nevertheless! She again distained our version. Ostriches she could understand! Thanks for the call in. Elizabeth

You've written a beautiful poem, Elizabeth. Verbally berating my kids is a memory I will never forget. Things worked out OK, though. Blessings

Made me laugh, Elizabeth. I can vividly remember correcting my children. It was all good, though. Have a blessed day.

Yes, Victor. As I said one time in an earlier poem, "N'er g'ie name to your pleasure." A very nice man taught me that. Elizabeth

No! She stood up for herself right from the beginning! Happily, she has continued to do so, now 22! Elizabeth
