Flowers
The flowers that you sent me
Have long since gone away
Emptiness has filled their space
On my screen every day
I know not what has happened
To the sender of this gift
Was it something I might have said
That caused this awful rift
Or is it just that you have found
The perfect Mr Right
That leaves my screen so empty
When I look for you at night
If that is so I wish you
Good health for you to enjoy
Many happy times with laughter filled
With your new lucky boy
If you can find some time
And you want to let me know
I will look out for your message
On my monitors bright glow
