Flower Songs

Oh how lovely are the flowers songs; Roses singing soprano while tulips belt out baritone notes; chiming songs is their greatest joy. Bluebells and daisies chime in tenor as, day lilies and buttercups provide verse in alto. Now that you know what they do with their time, listen with ear and heart. You’ll hear them; it’s similar to angels singing.

It is funny that as I read this I was thinking "no, roses are altos". Weird that this was my first thought, and I thought I could get over it, but it was my second thought too. Maybe I am not as flexible as I thought I was.

Perhaps they are a bit like us; maybe there are alto roses? Hmmm?
