A wonderful poem, Paul. They say that plants are living things to. If they could speak, I wonder what they would be saying...

This haiku kind of slaps you in the face, doesn't it? ... even the flowers are worried! I like the strong contrast between the soft aspect of nature ... and the harsh reality of a plague. Very creative.

Thank you so much, Mike, and it is nice to see you back. One positive characteristic of this virus is that it brings people together again! I'm being vigilant and sensible. Hope you too are keeping well. Stay safe, my friend. Regards // paul

Oh! What a perfect melding of contemporary news, visual and poetic art, Paul. How profound! I'm always amazed at the level of talent displayed in your work, and it seems the shorter the form you choose to write with the larger the impact! A creative and topical haiku, my inspiring friend. Warmest wishes and hugs for you, dear Paul, and best wishes for a win.. ~Susan

Great write about a sad topic - coronavirus is spreading and spilling over borders and into every country almost on our planet. We can try and isolate ourselves and the sick can also, but maybe this could be a biblical prophesy coming true - a wise choice of words and picture Paul - very well penned my friend. Warm regards and hugs, Jennifer.

Thank you, Jenny. Unfortunately coronavirus is spreading fast; even here in Malta we're feeling its effects. Hope a medicine to prevent it will be found soon.~ Warm regards & hugs // paul
