Flower Child Scoop

There is too much hate in the world. Leave it out of the Soup. Here is my flower child
scoop: “Make love not war.”

Eileen Manassian

I'm NOT a flower child, but this quotation from that era is pertinent today. Innuendos
and sarcasm, implications hoping for inferences have no place here. We all need to
heed this advice from Paul.

New International Version (Romans 13:8)
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another.

Make love not war especially on the soup where different spices blend so deliciously to unite in one kind of taste- Delicious.Yes..Why fight.on the soup..Isnt it a beauty to have such an opportunity to share our different cultures, religions, colours ,ideas, through poetry.Didn t our ancestors shed enough blood for us so that every voice is frre to be heard and each human to be loved?.Ow Eileen,What an amazing message.I come here for poetry, comfort and care,Hope the soup remains that haven xx

May it always be so! If you don't visit my work, I feel a great loss, as your words are filled with beauty. They are vibrant and real. Your last poem...one that I will read many times over...as I have already.
