Flow Then Follow

Forever on the grind losing my mind remembering the times of hustle and crime as it rolls through my mind I hope I never return pay for what I earn the dream continues to burn I will be victorious ain't it obvious like a soldier I stand ominous be proud of this I'm able to shine watch me blow up and cross the line I'll manipulate the standard and kill them with kindness does it matter if the outcome is devious even if I've achieved it I took the sky conquered the stars it's limitless when I put myself through this but I understand made up a plan from this point on no man can walk a mile in my shoes cause I took over the land my words are mighty my will is thrill I'll enter the flames and come out exalted cause I can rise above again. Let the deceived fall on their knees as they decline its my time strong as iron I forged through just to create a new day look me in my eyes don't lie now testify.

I love this poem. It reminds me of some of the work I hear at poetry cafes that are taken from the street filled with raw, uncensored emotions that captures the real life of urban America. Real Talk!!
