Flora I

Roses love
but beware the thorns,
Lilies remember
those that we mourn,
Daffodils whisper
of coming spring,
Poppies dream
a great many things.

My friend, Julie, creates amazing floral photographs. When I look at them, I feel inspired. I just thought of them now because of Robert's comment below. If you'd like to see her work, check out this link: http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/julie-powell.html?tab=artworkgalleries

Does the "I" in your title signify the Roman numeral one? If it does, are there a II and III coming shortly? I would like to see them.

Yes, it is the Roman numeral. Maybe by the time spring arrives I'll be inspired to create more floral symbolism, but with snow still on the ground, I'm just not feelin' it right now. Thank you for the suggestion, though.
