Flight
“Flight”
The card dealt
was The Star,
looking outwards
the wings took on
a different shape,
it seemed like a good
idea at the time,
the flight;
The Tower fallen
rubble now, just
burial mounds
left far behind
baggage still heavy
weighed for travel
on mercy scales
most of it could not
come on board,
so it was left behind;
slipping the shroud
for the blue-eyed ghost
fox hunting in
the clouds
