Notes About The Poem

Flickers

How do we safely claim the path
when suddenly sent back in time.
We know not the language, either
      the tongue or the culture.
              *M O V I E S*
make you believe you could adjust,
but perhaps you know where you’d fit.
                 *W I T C H”
they’d call you, hang or burn you.
There is no romantic love for you.
              *H O W E V E R*
we can live through imagination.
Still, I find I rather love to see flickers
of a real life told - yes the puzzle pieces
scattered, made more dramatic, and all.
              *O N R E P E A T*
my favorites, especially those involving God.
I can’t get enough of them. They pick up
my pieces, encourage me and show
that even though we will stumble and fall,
God’s in each and every detail, without fail.
