Flesh Vs Spirit

Oh, when I present in the flesh
It takes me back
To the labor pains
My wife endured
It shook my soul in watching
Oh the pain and anguish
That was taking place
The screaming that I had
Done this to her
And grabbing me
As to yank out my soul
Then our child
Was brought into this world
And all the pain disappeared
For peace and joy
Had taken over
When she held him
And looked in his eyes
This is a picture of what
It's like living when we
Are the ones in charge in the flesh
All the worries of this world
Will cause ones soul to scream
And keep one focused on earthly wisdom
But when the spirit in born
And separates us from this world
There comes a joy and peace
Like no other
You will find on this earth
And come to love all
For the flesh the World
Serves leads to death
And this includes all
Before being born again
As the only living God
Breathes life into ones that seek
To bring you out the chaos around you
And give wisdom
To be pulled away
From this wicked generation
As it has always been
To be filled
With every lasting
Joy, peace and love
As my wife
Seen as our child was born
Love you all

Nothing brings us closer to heaven than the birth of a child. A beautiful poem, Stephan. :)
