Fleeting Dreams
Listen to poem:
Fondly He crawled into her night
and pressed a kiss upon her cheek
Through skylight glass He watched the stars
counting her fervent fleeting dreams.
Her dreams He owned and love bestowed
in pleasant walks of ocean bliss
He knew that girl that lay in bed
yearned only for his seeking lips
All thoughts of her in want of him
without a limit, reason , or gain
Had filled his stomach with fireflies
A moon-glow burning in molten flames
Those intense flames He had to bury
Never to feel her long embrace
At early dawn He has been gone
with one last glance upon her face
Fondly She crawled into his night
and pressed a kiss upon his cheek
Through skylight glass She watched the stars
then once-again entered his sleep.
Inspired by the oldie song by Lobo -Baby I'd love you to want me...
