Notes About The Poem

Flawed Perfection

Radiant and lovely she sits.
      Her lips curved into a sensual smile.
         Calm stillness  poetic form,
            Her heart beats with passion,

   A breath, among Arden flowers.
      I could see the façade behind the mask;
         Absolutely beautiful in the lamplight
            In suffering lull, torn innermost,

   Emotions, she's cracked and broken
      Creating an illusion of perfection,
         Covers the imperfect to ignite an image
            Of flawlessness; not flawed, a vase of sunlight.

Well written Eve. I think it is a safe assumption to say that we all wear mask to conceal something. Good luck:)
