flavor of remorse

I am blurred lines circling in spirals into the deadly depths of darkness taste of my remorse is flavored with seasoned cream cocktails of regrets I've been caught on a honed knife edge as cobwebs of fading onyx Dreams savor burnt poisoned thirst to let go of every smoke and ash that blinded my senses from seeing the dirt you've fed my soul in the name of bloodlines that never existed as all your recipes I've learnt through the menu of decayed white lies served in sweet disguise staining faith within a heart shaped void where demons devour me through midnight now I'm my own savior concocting an essence to relish and revive without iron schemes to shackle me

Empress Empress Empress. Good Morning. Is there no end to your skilled talent. I found this extraordinary to the eye and ear. Never did you stray from your brilliant title. I read the entry twice to soak it in. To say your entry defines poetry and poeticness is pale but yes it does. You do free verse proud. This is an entry to be read out loud slowly with emphasis and feeling. Thank you for sharing your skilled talent. Peace and Blessings always to you and your poetic pen. (smile)

Whatever you're going through, I'm sorry... this was an agony to read. I also like the line "staining faith within a heart shaped void where demons devour me through midnight" very deep.

If you be my sinner, you'll be my winner... dark and deep poetry is something you do very well.. I have to be careful how I write as people seems to think my style is like yours... lol... you always had a unique way with words to express pain, you seem to be in pain whilst writing this one... The flavour of your remorse sounds bitter and salty.. hmmm... its always those closest to us that hurt us the most...

I will always be drowning in your insane flow with all your poems, this one has me at edge..the diction and imagery and the deep feels that hits right in the gut is truly phenomenal, my beautiful soul sis. So mesmerizingly divine. “As cobwebs of fading onyx dreams savor burnt poisoned thirst to let go of every smoke and ash that blinded my senses”..the whole verse has me so profoundly struck! I resonate so deeply with it, like you’re speaking my soul language..and the end, as always, so..

Empowering, exuding a strength in the escape of chains that bind us to the dark, to break free and fly above all that tries to weigh us down..it’s such a breath of fresh air reading and feeling the freedom of your words that my own mind is shackled to. I’m truly awestruck by your brilliant masterpiece, my soul sis!
