Victor, Thanks for your comment on my Spring Monoku and of course for visiting my poetry page. Your Flashbacks piece is concise, colourful and cleverly constructed. Your line indented stepwise design is quite imaginative. Howard

Sitting in the shade of a tree, it is fun recollecting sweet old memories. They flit through mind as flashbacks. Lovely image and lovely little poem.

Resting in nature's tranquillity, how easy it is to be revisited by scenes from yesterday. This lovely poem struck a chord with me. :)

Aren't they bittersweet? Emotionally hit you somewhere in the chest region? Obviously, Victor, your poem is effective because it sparked such FEEL in me. Hugs, to you, my special Victor ... CayCay

Dear Victor, this is wonderfully nostalgic! The imagery of the jacaranda tree paired with echoes of old dreams creates a serene yet powerful sense of longing. Simply beautiful! A fave because I do love Jacaranda trees. They bloom here in October and I have one just outside our bedroom...Hugs
