Flames

Some flames can never be extinguished.
The sparks you saw behind my eyes,
They leapt up from my heart,
From a consuming inferno burning forever.
But once the fire sears the nerves the pain will cease.
Would that I could catch any sparks that fly your way,
Let them smolder in my heart, saving you the pain.
The fire has burned me and smote my nerves,
Pain has left, though the flames still roar.
I can no longer feel.

Amber I feel your pain through a lost relationship. It pains me to know your hurting. This is a touching poem. Jesus loves you he is the great comforter ask him into your heart and he will come and heal you. Right now yyou might think your going through hell. But tommorow will bring sunshine and a new day. Be patient God will heal your heart and if you ask him he will bring that special someone never to hurt you and be sensitve to your tender feelings. God bless you and yours Michael Torres
