Five New Year's Resolutions

Five New Year’s Resolutions

I resolve to delete my family and friends 
Whose right-wing ideas my good sense offends.

I resolve to spend time with my mom in good health
For having her with us is more prized than wealth.

I resolve to take time for my mental well-being.
For teachers in crisis stress students when seeing.

I resolve to lose weight; no, this one’s not new.
COVID has added a good pound or two. 

I resolve I will be the best me I can,
Be kind and forgiving and follow God’s plan.

Great idea behind your first one, but "delete" seems a big harsh - we all have those friends and relatives. Hopefully iwe can ignore their lack of good sense. while praying for a way to enlighten them. All in all - super resolutions straight from the heart, Linda. Congratulations!
