Fishing Friday

Boat’s hooked up
Cooler’s packed
Got my hat
First beer’s cracked.
Crank bait on
Poles are ready
Off I go now
Slow and steady.
Troll around
The lily pads
Cast and reel
Almost had him.
Now off I go
It’s the end of the day
With stories to tell
How he got away.

Julia: You painted such a wonderful picture of a boyhood experience, you took me back 65 yrs or more. Well maybe the beer came a bit later. :o) Thank you for sharing your talents and experiences with all of us on the soup. oldbuck

Remarkable lines, true words, amazing piece from a very deep and wise mind. I love every bit of this. Great work

This has such a great motor to it, Julia. Love it! (And I've never gone fishing in my life!) Cheers, Gershon
