First Things First

First I liked your voice
I really liked it though it isn't often on
Then I liked your smile from over the table
Soft and real and centered on me only

And I thought it cannot end like this so

Then I liked your hand
giving me tight space for no doubts
Then I liked your no doubts
about you who like what I am

Very nice change, I must say
A bit frightening that you assume too much
But still

Long time no see:) This is an interesting poem; gives the reader food for thought; makes me think of a blind date, which does not sound at all bad:) Regards // paul
