First Kiss

His boyish charm; his arm around my shoulder; my fluttering heart. His lips softly met mine, and in that long, smooth hot summer night’s kiss, all that I’d longed for in my fourteen years suddenly blossomed. For Line Gauthier's the 'Bite Size Poem no.5' Poetry Contest

hmm, I wonder why I removed my tribute to Glen on this poem. Yes, he was the inspiration: a good old southern boy and son of a preacher man!

I forgot what I remember. Was it July or november. When she wooed me to the back seat of her car. I woke up in the morning, had forgot about the warning. That it's not polite for girls to go that far.

It sure will be a joyous day, Andrea. Who knows we could be neighbors. There's going to be a lot of people in the new earth and that's why there won't be any sea. I love your First Kiss poem - it is so sweet. I wish you well in Tracie's Contest. Luv, Maureen x

Good nostalgia. Have you heard, She wouldn't first kiss me in the canoe, so I paddled her back? Luck in the contest. Love, daver
