Many thanks and much gratitude coming your way Lasaad! I like your description of summer that "gleams." Truly it does! The light is different in summer - full, round, glowing and so full of bursting life! Thank you for affirming my efforts to create a picture of this experience that suffuses every part of every day! Summer blessings to you my friend.

Many thanks and much gratitude Michelle. Summer in its shiny newness, to me, is like a bright new penny with a story to tell. I really enjoy linking haikus into a story. So glad you enjoyed this summer tale! All the best. Blessings of bright summer days to you!

Thank you so much Valsa! This haiku string was born out of a string of hot days in early summer. Everyone headed to the beach to cool off from the heat and it occurred to me that summer is a season of opposites - hot - cold; windy - calm; rest and activity. Summer really leaves a visual footprint! Sending you bunches of summer blessings my friend!
