First

I travel alot of places doing what I love.
Ever since that day I had with him,he's been all I been thinking of.

We been  talkin on the phone every day.
We entertain each other in every way.
He's the last person I talk to before I go to sleep at night.
When I have my bad days, talking to him makes everything alright.

I'm starting to realize I have feelings for him.
This is not how I want this to be.
I'm starting to think a lil more about him than me.
That's not cool. I dont want to love now.
I'm going to let this go. This how I feel.
I have to let him know.

I got my whole life ahead of me.
I dont want to be inlove now.
I want to tell him but I dont know how.
I know this is probably going to hurt 
but I just need to keep it real.
Need to focus on me and my career first.

First of all, welcome to Poetry Soup, Christy. As for the poem, we never know when we're going to meet the right mate. It could happen when we are least prepared for it, but I would explore this relationship further as it seems he is already in your heart. If he truly loves you, he will allow you time for your career. Maybe you can have it all? Go for it! Best wishes, Carolyn
