Firefly

I was leaned back, and the firefly's were lighting up the night at a beat full of the sunset, the summer spirits present all around the glow, and the choir rang and the dark roared closer, larger, louder till all was black. The glowing ceased and not a sign of yellow light remained, and the night air had a white tinge of the moonlight and the white shine replaced the glow. I sat and breathed the swiftly chilled and foggy air and sighed, then rose and left.
