Fireflies

The fireflies fly far and fast, but we, we cannot escape it... we cannot escape the rushing wind, the crackling fires, the pain of others.... We can tuck the feelings away in our minds, in our hearts, but no matter how deep we hide the hurt it will always reappear. Feelings will never disappear. Our hearts, like the ocean, carry so much baggage, but you can't really tell quite how much until you've been in it. Despite what is thought we are not all fireflies. We cannot fly away, but we can spread our wings.
