Fire Without Flame

Lying on this empty but filled bed,
Clinging to a pillow bathed in your perfume,
Eyes blood shot with love and desire
As i pen down this little but large piece of emotions to no one else but you.

Beyond measures I wish
That for us the world could stand still for a moment
For I want them all to hear of this new fire I found burning without flames
This very fire I saw you lit but never saw the source
This very Fire that drives me each day
The same fire that only I may know, has a flame

As I sit to unveil the source of this flame
While trying desperately to hold on to every bit of its flame
There you stood so far but near
And then our breathe touch
The fire intensified
Everything stood still
And then I touched it
Oh the Flame!
Yes there indeed lies the flame!
