Fire and Rain

I see Fire. I see Rain. All differences. All the same. Many faces... ...of loss and gain. Many hasty... ....shots take aim. Bodies down... ....torn and maimed. Bodies lay waste... ....truthful shame. Unknown race. Unknown claim. All differences All the same Hearts slow pace. Hearts of pain. Hates the case. Hates the blame. All differences. All the same. All differences All the same. Our lives debased. Our lives vain. This fettered vase. This fates' ordain. All differences All the same. All differences All the same. Feel the fire. Feel the rain. Feel the fire. Feel the rain. ***w11042019

I started reading and instantly began singing "I see fire, I see rain." I do not know if you were thinking of the 1960's song, but it came to my mind quickly.

Research sayss..... James Taylor.. "Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain. I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end...I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend....But I always thought that I'd see you again"... Wow, that may be where it came from. It use to play on the radio. The concept is similar as well. His is about the death of a friend... [past tense].. mine is about the deaths of many peoples.. [continuously] occurring based on biases and anger... etc... whether the it extends from hatred (fire) or peaceful (rain) intentions. The final fate is death no matter the reason for murder. It's all the same. But! the title is the same, (I did NOT know that). Not the same beat (luckily for me). I wonder if I have to change it???? So no, I was not thinking it consciously.
