Fingers

Hands,
They pick you up when you're on the ground
and they push you away from speeding cars
They hold you back from doing stupid things
and they hold your waist when you are slow dancing

Shoulders,
They're right at your height
so when you need a place to cry
you just lay your head down

Arms,
they lift you up in the air
so you can feel like you are flying
and when you miss them holding you,
you can run into them,
like you thought they were gone forever.

Elbows,
When you're bored
they give you a wenus to rub, and name
they nudge you when you are doing something wrong
and when someone is coming
Or when the cutest boy in school is looking at you.

Fingers,
they are dead give away when you are nervous
because they fiddle way too much
and they get you into trouble
when you are texting in class

But when you can point out
exactly what you want
fingers can be a good thing
and when you are picking the right person to
hold their hand
cry on their shoulder
be held in their arms
and rub and name their wenus...
fingers are the perfect tool.
