Fine Indigo Soup

the night
promised
more than dreams
my eyes
closed
seeing stars
as they are
wildly thrown
perfection
knowing
i would be
here
this table
destined
the sky is
fine indigo soup
steaming overhead
and
god is
the server.

An easy six, Richard. Loved the metaphor. And, the ending. Write on!

I like this poem. The flow is natural and reading it places me in a tranquil mood. Wouldn't mind having a bowl of fine indigo soup.
