Finding Trust

I cannot find the trust,
to open myself to others.
If it was ever there,
I keep it buried now.

To open myself to others,
this, I cannot do.
I keep it buried now.
Did I ever dare?

This I cannot do,
where once I had the courage.
Did I ever dare,
to let you see inside?

Where once I had the courage,
if it was ever there,
to let you see inside,
I cannot find the trust.
