Finding Peace

Isn’t it a wonder, how letting in the slap of the tide to rest against the walls of your skin reverberate with peacefulness calming the days vibration easing the stress Isn’t it a blessing, how Looking out over the wide bay Towards the distant islands in blue Softens your lips of compressed lines Makes your breath a deep haven Shredding anxiety Isn’t it a sorrowful memory, how The voice of a bagpipes bellows Catches in your throat As Amazing Grace drifts into the sky Leaving notes of love, family and friends Creating connection Isn’t it like a lovers caress, how The sun’s slowing sinking orb Sends to you golden hues of love Reflected in your eyes and felt Softly, upon your upturned face Granting you peace 08-31-2022

The sun is slowly showing itself. Nearly time to take two layers of clothes off.

Reminded me of, "Danny Boy" (the pipes, the pipes are calling, from glen to glen, and down the mountainside) to arms rather than to peace, but well thought and done Jeanne! Aloha!

Aloha Rico. I was on the beach when a fellow started playing...it was magic at sunset. I'm glad you got hit with it too. :D

Jeanne, isn't this just a wonderful gem! Love the bagpipes reference. They always stir something very deep in my Celtic heart. So happy to see you back in the soup doing the backstroke! Blessings! Welcome back.
