Finding Lost Moments
There is something I need to find?
How so easily lost were that of moments...
Time always effectively plays the mind
To relentlessly twist our thoughts for a need to return
Too many times I have wished for a redo
Far too many times I see myself if only I could
If there is one thing I know... one thing I knew
Time will never pity your moments for what would
And I learn to do what I might
Living what moments promises to bring
Truthful to myself without a need to hide
To begin living in moments prior to once have been
I always look to time to find my resolve
Not saying it’ll heal but at least it’ll pass
How have you grown from your moments’ lost?
Guess it don’t matter given how every moment is last
As you linger in time, you will linger in mind
And to quietly think will we only effectively learn
There was something I was looking for to find
To find how so easily lost... were that of moments
