Finding Hope

"Waking up from all the distress,
I opened my eyes with reluctance,
 Found something new to dress,
Thinking this would make a difference,
Walked into a pool with fence."

"Drowning myself into the water,
 letting my lungs burn,
 and my heart shatter,
I come out of it yearning for my turn,
 My turn to be happy"

"why is it so hard?
so hard to find hope,
Praying God to turn my card,
I walk down the slope,
continuing my journey."
