Finding Forgiveness Within the Solitude
In the stillness where the world dissolves,
I walk a path I’ve longed to find,
Where silence wraps me in its folds,
And whispers truths I've left behind.
The streets are barren, yet I roam,
A traveler of my own design,
Seeking forgiveness not from others,
But the shadows that still haunt my mind.
In solitude, the heart unfolds,
No clamor to drown the voice within,
Each breath a step toward what’s been lost,
A healing quiet, where wounds begin.
I search for grace, not in the crowd,
But in the depths where sorrow sleeps,
In empty spaces, peace is found,
And broken parts learn how to keep.
No need for words that seek to heal,
No need for hands that offer lies—
Within this stillness, I begin to feel
Forgiveness bloom beneath these skies.
The streets of solitude, they teach—
To find the strength I never knew,
That in the silence, I can reach
A softer place where I’m made new.
