Find Me
Not top of list, not on the best kissed got no dreams to make me see sense
The world is a stage, but im stuck on a page, coz the script money’s all been spent
My hearts in a box, don’t know whose got the lock, so got no hope of finding the key
The arrow hit the mark, switched on the dark, so now no hope of finding me
Not prize of show, the last to know, the worlds been destroyed again
Can’t win the fight, not without light, so I’ll save you god knows when
The music’s the thing; Elvis was the king, till he finally lost the beat
The rhythm of dance, stopped taking the chance, so the debts going up in the heat
Wet cats and dogs, formed the slow cogs, of the Cacti’s long sought food
Followed a dream, wasn’t quite what it seemed, the journey dampened the mood
Life was an art, I was told by a tart, imprisoned by the light of day
The end of the world, stopped by a girl, she couldn’t it wasn’t the way
Tears aren’t the cure, need something more, time to turn to the drink
Big girls don’t cry, but it’s worth a try, if it keeps their heads out of the sink
Something quite small, is often a ball, coz it frightens something so big
An elephant cries, and a man nearly dies, as the mouse causes an elephant jig
What’s silly is life, on the edge of a knife, the cut short end of a play
An open jail cell, leading only to hell, the world is here every day
Still stuck in my box, can’t find the lock, still no hope of finding the key
But there’s a small chink of light, bearing up for the fight, so there’s a small chance
you can find me
