I never say something or write something without a reason. Unfortunately, not all people are willing to spend time to write something of substance and depth. Harmony, my friend, David, as I wrote to Richard, in Greek mythology, was the daughter of Ares ( March) god of war and Aphrodite (Venus) goddess of love! As you see the ancient Greeks, especially Heraclitus, were aware of the nature of Harmony as the agreement and coexistence of the opposite forces since they were her parents! Just to contemplate on it! Thank you!

I like the idea that without opposites there can be no harmony. This was the opposite of my understanding. I guess it is the same with music, there can be no sound without tension.

In everything Richard, in everything! Almost my entire thesis is devoted on the subject of the agreement of the opposites which is called harmony. No opposites, no agreement, no harmony! If we understand that we make the first step towards understanding how things work. This is the point I make in this Epigram of mine! Thank you my friend. Please read my reply to Jan concerning Harmony. Harmony is the secret of nature. Everything is a result of harmony, our happiness included! To achieve it is not to obliterate the opposite but to use it in a constructive way so as to balance a given situation. When we achieve it then our well-being is established. Harmony is a Greek word which means the agreement of the opposite forces in nature! When this agreement is reached things are born therefore everything in nature is a result of this agreement for that reason in everything the opposite forces coexist! Living in harmony with nature and with the rest of the people is a must if we wish to achieve the quality of life we wish for. Thank you for your visit, your comment and your grading!
