Filled With White Doves

To know that feeling; of a hand being held
To having that sensation, quite like – love
Loving the one you’re with
Where the feelings of a woman are just the same, as
A heart responds to a kiss, to touch, as much
Woman to woman, as
With any man to man
For butterflies fly indiscriminately, yet without discrimination
Then
Along comes love in a wave of sweeping human emotions and
Suddenly the air is filled with white doves
The joy of flight in fancy, no matter what
Nothing else matters
Just fingers entwined about the hand of a girl,
A woman like you or me, lost
In exasperation
Locked in a stigma, where the key is in your pocket
For a woman is just a woman, when she is a woman
Who love’s
Audaciously, together holding hands as lovers
But dare open the closet and thee will see, that a
Girl is just a girl, in
The eyes of a woman, and
A woman is just a woman, in
The eyes of a girl
Each walks through life
Holding that feeling in the hands of each other, fending off
Homophobia in a social miasma
Where brothers will always be brothers
And mothers will always accept -
Our love and more, as sisters unite side by side,
Watching the skies forever,
Fill with white doves

This one is quite unique. Justin is a harsh judge but I have a feeling this is one that might have a chance with him. I have not posted my "woman" poem yet. Hopefully soon~~ ME LIKES this one.
