Filled With the Sunset

Azure skies lay dormant waiting the retiring of the sun
As nighttime deities are tickled by the oncoming dusk
The moon then strengthens in intensity and inspiration
Two, make way to the sand, filled with mutual love and trust

The softness of the breeze caresses their skin with warmth
As their hands fall into each others and then tightly they grasp
Smiles fall upon their faces as they stare at the sunset
Feeling complete and grateful to be alone then, at last

No other hearts in the world could feel, as they truly feel
For they are together in love, forever to be real

Romantic as a pistol! This would make a great song. Love, Daver

That's a rare feeling. We used to sit on a bench in Virginia Beach and stare at the sunset over the ocean. Feeling is difficult to describe. Vince

The sunset is most beautiful. here where I live I look toward the west when the sun sets and there is the mountains. I wrote a poem about it, called Sunset Over The Horizon. if you care to read it, I have it posted at soup. this was a very colorful poem.
