Fifty Is Nifty

About fifty
Rhymes with nifty
Going on sixty

Same day today
As tomorrow hooray!

Fifty is ten past forty
Age is but a number and counting time tends to bore me

I'm like a puppy that's all dirty 
A kid son, I'm barely over thirty

As for the big five-0
Be proud of all that you may now know

Farewell my elder
Mad respect, for sure

And 

Congratulations for being
