Field of Dreams

To see him
Walk with him
Talk with him
What would I say?
As tears form just thinking
I see a young man
Living out the dream he had
Experiencing heaven
Yet, he knows who he is
What I mean to him
And more so, what he means to me
But, that need not be expressed
For love is a quiet surrender;
A peak of interest on a lone field
As two men, now as boys,
Both, experience
The one dream they shared

Field of Dreams is a beautiful story, both in your poem and in the movie! Anything, but especially a dream, that can bring a father and son on equal ground, is a wonderful thing! Lovely thoughts!....fondly, Carrie
