Fictitious Times
A tiny world inside a tiny bubble
filled with danger and deceit
full of the world that they create
secret whispers in their shadows
within their darkness and their hate
in the world that they create
Slippery hands exchange the things that they defile
abnegation in the corners of their filth
and smiling all the while
for egos pestilence addicted to accumulated wealth
prints the press of their denial
criminal intrigue and the monsters
cluster bombs and cluster mines
the rewards of living in such fictitious times
Their voices raised above the people
their speeches a coercion
in the limelight's flashlight to celebrate their evil
abandoned proofs and truths desertion
the tiny bubble they built around their tiny world
impacts the world of billions
And now with hubris these spin doctors of the mob
the vapid indolent mouths of politicians
bespoke usury is the compensation for the inside job
crooks connecting with their own felonious club
played the Pied Piper away from heavens gate
within their own darkness and their hate
the tiny bubble of their minds
our reward for living in such fictitious times
Their voices raised above the people
their speeches a morass of self persuasion
celebrates their evil in the glitter-ball of stardom
abandoned proofs and truths desertion
the tiny bubble they built around their tiny little world
destroys the world of billions
The Pied Piper leads the future of our children
away from heavens gate
to feed their own darkness and their hate
the sickness festering in their minds
our reward for living in such fictitious times
