Certainly that happened this time, but there's not much we can do about it. We can participate in government locally and hope that the good things we do can prevail. In the meantime, we will just try to be good to each other and ourselves! Thanks for being here!

Yes, things do not seem to change much Andrea. I hope all will go well with what has happened. There's some interesting parallels with the past that seem to indicate we may be in for a rocky road. We'll certainly see. Sorry it took so long for me to see your comment here from almost 13 years ago.

Thanks Ken, this was a long time ago. But the kinds of lies and distortions used in advertising and messaging have only gotten worse. Sorry it took 15 years to respond, but I was not retired and had many distractions back then. Hope you are well!!!

Hi Jeralynn, it's only about fifteen years since your comment. Seems like this election provides some insights. We had hoped Harris would have addressed inflation and immigration truthfully and indicated what she would have done differently. In a way, she was less than truthful by omission. Of course, she faced an out and out narcissist, liar, and psychotic individual who seems to have had more appeal than she. We live in strange and worrisome times.
