Feet On the Ground

Daredevil Jim always let it be known,
first time succeeding most times is blown,
and his theory is right
for on his first flight …
Jim should have left skydiving alone.

Yes, Jim should have kept his feet on terra firma. Sad that he made the wrong choice. They say that every thousand jumps ends in tragedy. I would not want to be that 1000th jumper. Your visit to my page was encouraging. Sara

G'day Harry ... Why thank you. I once was talked into going up in a glider and that finished me from planes, let alone jumping from one. I wouldn't even go in the high jump after that - thank you Harry - Lindsay

It takes all of my courage to even fly in a plane, which I have obviously done often, but sky diving, hot ballooning, bungee jumping and anything alike I have always steered clear of. Enjoyed the limerick though, thanks Lindsay. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
