'Twas spring and time for one wee lad to choose
Just what would be his brand new Easter shoes
Now tight inside them, white and tan and laced
Gloss saddle shoes had found him happy-faced
So, not one moment would he waste to muddle
Then headed he, straight for his fav'rite puddle!
