Feelings For You
I Know this looks awkward, but
How else can I do it so that I’m h
Allowed access to your heart.
Volumes of jargonized words I could use
Except, I want to let you understand
For yourself that I would wish to
Enter into this world of romance,
Enticed by the strong feelings of
Love that I’ve developed during the
Immense time that we’ve shared.
Not knowing if you feel the same, I
Got to keep them from you, though the
Saying goes; better an open rebuke
Far more than hidden love.
Optimistic as I am, I’m convinced that
Real are my feelings for
You, and if you
Only let me in, then you’d
Understand when I say I have feelings for you.
